Triple B - Biking, Blessings, Bangalore!

Tired of paying (and mostly dealing) with auto-whalas, I took the matter in hand and did an extensive research about acquiring a bike. Knowing the license might be an issue, since I can only drive cars, I asked many people and the common census was to keep some money with me in the event an officer would stop me. Hence, I did my first biking lesson last Sunday with my roommate Bastien, who owns a nice Royal Enfield Bullet (the best brand apparently you can get here). Within less than an hour I was happily shifting the first 3 gears in an uncrowded road! The bike was pretty heavy, so any imbalance issue at low speed would be quite a challenge!

A week later, after more research and contacting sellers, I made the math and for the next 4 months (including the monsoon period!) it seems simply not worth to spend that much money and most importantly, to risk my life! I love the peace of mind taking a rickshaw gives you, especially when I get to meditate in the traffic. That is the best "be in harmony with your environment" situation I can find!

Speaking on environment, I am leaving by train in a few hours to the best place in the world, which is of course our beloved Bangalore Ashram! And I heard Guruji cancelled his trip to Pakistan to be there this weekend! What a combo :) I will be doing for the first time the Blessings Course. Possibly the best weekend so far!

Stay tuned: next week I am scheduled to start co-teaching my first YES!+ course with Muthu. As said before, never a dull moment in Chennai!
